KAKA PICKS UP A KNEE INJURY

Kaka picked up a knee injury and Carlo Ancelotti has added Kaka now to his injury list for an high octane game against Catania who are under pressure to save themselves from the relegation.Kaka took an X ray on monday and it suggested that he had bruised his knee severely after a win over Palermo 2-1.It now prevents him from travelling to Scicily and also it is highly doubtful whether he will be fit for the Arsenal clash in the champions league in the coming week. "(Kakha) Kaladze, (Andrea) Pirlo and (Marek) Jankulovski are tired and need some rest," the coach said in an interview.The lack of depth in the roster is clearly affecting Milan.

KAKA COMMITS HIS FUTURE

REAL MADRID TEASE KAKA

Kaka has been teased by the Madrid coach Calderon that he is not good enough to play at Madrid and make it into the first eleven of that team.AC Milan's Brazilian star Kaka would struggle to make the first team at Real Madrid despite being named the outstanding footballer of 2007, the Spanish club's president said.

"The (Real) team is very complete and it would be difficult to make it better," Ramon Calderon told a Madrid radio station Tuesday. "I might appear arrogant, but Kaka would perhaps not have a place in the current Real Madrid team."

The declaration surprised Spanish newspapers, which put it down the "euphoria" ahead of Real's match with arch-rivals Barcelona on Sunday.

The AS and Marca newspapers both noted that before being elected president of Real last year, Calderon had promised to sign Kaka.

Kaka on Monday received the FIFA Player of the Year award to add to his European Footballer of the Year honour.

The 25-year-old starred in AC Milan's run to the European Champions League title, then the European Super Cup and the recent Club World Cup.

The Brazilian is expected to extend his contract with AC Milan until 2012 or 2013, according to Spanish and Italian media.Now Real Madrid it seems are getting frustrated by the Brazilian stars repeated refusals to play for their club.

Kaka ha been voted as the FIFA player of the year.The award is the third such award the Brazilian has recieved this year.Kaka plies his trade with AC Milan and won the UEFA Champions league last year with them and he also scored 10 goals for them in the champions league football alone.Kaka polled 1,047 votes, Messi 504 and Ronaldo 426.The poll was conducted among the national coach and captains of all the countries.He has also won the European footballer of the year.Didier Drogba of Chelsea finished fourth in the voting.

KAKA NOT UP FOR GRABS

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has warned potential suitors of his star Kaka that the Rossoneri will not be tempted into selling the Brazilian forward.

The 25-year-old Kaka, whose 10 goals made him the top scorer in last season's Champions League, had been Real Madrid's top target this summer while recent reports have linked the FIFA World Player of the Year nominee with a move to Chelsea in a £100m deal.

But the Rossoneri supremo said on the AC Milan website: "Kaka is very happy at Milan and has never expressed any intention of wanting to leave. As long as he is proud to wear this shirt, there is no economical reason that would take him away from us. There is no sum of money we couldn't refuse for him."
