Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi has joined Lazio on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old has made a quick return to Italy after struggling to establish himself at City since his summer arrival from Reggina.
Bianchi scored just four goals in 19 Premier League appearances and failed to make himself a regular in Sven Goran Eriksson's starting XI.
The Italian claims he turned down offers from other clubs to make the move to Lazio. "First I will have the opportunity to play and, moreover, I will be happy. "I was pleased to meet the other Lazio players. I have the impression that they're a very united group, which is right when you want to build something solid for the present and the future." Bianchi could make his Lazio debut this weekend against Torino.
