Leander Paes has tasted defeat while his erstwhile partner Mahesh Bhupathi has tasted success.Leander, in partnership with Australian Paul Hanley went down 4-6 6-3 10-3 to the second seeded Israeli duo of Jonathon Erlich and Andy Ram and the fourth seeded Bhupathi along with his Bahamas partner Mark Knowles, scored a comfortable 6-4 6-3 win over the Melo and Andre Sa who both are Brazilians.
