RONALDINHO UNHAPPY AT BARCA

Barcelona's Brazilian play-maker Ronaldinho is finding the situation at the Spanish club "untenable", according to El Mundo newspaper on Thursday.

Quoting sources close to his brother and agent Roberto de Assis, El Mundo said Ronaldinho was unhappy at the Nou Camp this season, where he has fallen out of favour, especially since his reputation was damaged by highly-publicised reports of his nocturnal party lifestyle.

"It's been a long time that he has not been happy in Barcelona. He's not at ease in the dressing-room and is not ready to play the role of replacement," the daily quoted other sources close to the Brazilian as saying.

Ronaldinho was a replacement during Barca's last two matches, the 2-2 Champions league draw against Lyon and the 1-1 La Liga draw against Espanyol, playing just the final 20 minutes of each match.

"Players like Ronaldinho, it's not the coach who sits them on the replacements' bench, it's them who decide," Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard told Ona FM radio.

The Dutchman said it was up to Ronaldinho to show what a "great player he is, and he's going about that".
