Srilankan lions roared past the Indians in the fifth one day match of the tri series played here today.Chasing a revised target of 154 runs in 21 overs Tillakaratne dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene put up a stand of 85 runs to ensure that the target was chased succesfully.Earlier rain reduced the match to 29 overs.India reached 195 runs for the loss of five wickets and young batsman Rohit Sharma scored 70 runs to lead the Indian side which was helped by useful contributions from Tendulkar,Gambhir and skipper Dhoni.In their reply Jayasuriya assaulted Sreesanth who went for 48 runs in three overs.India after that were never really in the hunt and they lost the match.The next one dayer is between Srilanka and Australia on Friday at the Perth.
