Boca Juniors defeated arch rivals River Plate one nil, the first time in three years they have won the meeting of Argentina's two most popular clubs in the Superclasico. Sebastian Battaglia scored the only goal of the game to throw the Clausura championship wide open. Boca are now just one point behind the leading trio of Estudiantes, San Lorenzo and River Plate with six matches still to play.
