The men’s singles draw at Roland Garros saw things going according to script for Rafael Nadal despite his suffering from blisters at the end of the second set. The defending champion looked unstoppable against Finland’s Jarko Nieminen going on to win 6-1, 6-3, 6-1. Third seed Novak Djokovic also booked a place in the 4th round beating American Wayne Odesnik 7-5, 6-4, 6-2. The doubles pair of Leander Paes and Lukas Dloughy breezed into the 3rd round of the doubles event beating Jose Acasuso and Sebastian Prieto 6-4, 6-4.
