Tiger Woods sealed a dramatic win at the US Open beating Rocco Mediate in a sudden death on Monday. Woods claimed the title winning first hole of the sudden death after both he and Mediate had shot even-par 71 over the 18 hole play- off. With the win, the world number number claimed the 14th major title of his career. Woods' 65th career victory also saw him overtake Ben Hogan in third place in the all-time winners' list.
