MANICHE TO INTER?

Portugal midfield maestro Nuno Maniche is rumoured to be linked to Inter Milan.He is to join the San Siro club from the Athletico Madrid.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon stadium in the current transfer window and Inter are in pole position to acquire the 30-year-old on loan until the end of the season.

"There is nothing definite," Moratti told Sky Italia. "We have a meeting with Atletico on Wednesday."

Maniche joined Atletico from Dynamo Moscow last year after a loan spell with Chelsea.

Serie A leaders Inter have been looking to reinforce their midfield line with Patrick Vieira, Luis Figo and Dejan Stankovic all unavailable through injury.This is now a major boost if he signs for Inter.
